Sawmill Mountain Bike Trail, Hepworth Ontario, Photos - Mid May
The day we were at the Sawmill Mountain Bike Trail, Grey and Bruce High Schools were having a mountain bike race. Our main goal was to show the trail, the race was a bonus. The
race was on the easier part of the trail.
The Sawmill Trail was built on old sand dunes which means that the tail is flat with short steep hills. Also, there are may areas with exposed sand. This can be hard on some bikes.
Tourist can use this trail during the spring, summer and fall. In the winter it is a ski trail.
