Ontario Trilliums normally bloom mainly in Maple forests during May. Most Trilliums are white but can be red and everything inbetween. The colour is determined by the type of soil they grow in. These flowers are not rare but most Ontario residents frown on people who pick them. This is a nice time of year for hiking places like the Bruce Trail to see Trilliums. Normally the temperature is warm with few bugs and the trees are busting their buds.
