We had a couple of hours to spend in Walkerton and could only see most of the west side of the river along the town. What we did see was a nice trail that has had some upgrades. There are two trails. One is along the river and the other is on the old train tracks. The Saugeen River is also a well known canoe route. There are three photos of canoe launches and one place where it looks like people have camped or had a picnic. I will go back again with my mountain bike and try to do the entire trail.
