This is an attractive section of road with lots of Bay and Escarpment views.
Drive at road speed and your trip is over in under an hour and you have missed some very delightful sites. The main features of this trip are many rivers, rainbow fishing, the old train tracks, three down hill ski hills, many small parks, the Beaver Valley and quaint towns. We did go off the main road once to the Blue Mountain ski hill. It is the first set of hills that we show on the tour. A side trip into the Beaver Valley has great hilltop views of the valley. If you don’t mind getting lost, we do recommend the back way into Owen Sound from Meaford via #7 to 4, 29 to Bognor, 18 to Rockford, Inglis Falls road into Owen Sound. Don’t forget to buy the world famous Beaver Valley apples.
