Scuba Diving in the Wiarton Area
 |
The Wiarton Area is a very scenic. This picture is on the way to Owen Sound, just past the Bruce Caves. |

If you are ever on the Wiarton Ontario Web Site you might want to tell the Mayor that you saw him on the Net. He is the person in front.

This location is Big Bay which is between Wiarton and Owen Sound. This is one our favorite fall stops as we drive to look at the leaves in October. |

A short story.
The divers were in a big rush to get in the water because their suites were very hot when out of the water.

Entering the water you might see a Salmon in the fall trying to get up a very small creek. How small is it? I'm glad you asked. Wearing shoes you might get them wet if you step in the middle of the creek. These Salmon are crazy. |

September and October are excellent months for diving. The waters average temperature is the warmest of the year. In Georgian Bay on most days you can see 30 to 60 feet (10 to 20 meters). Things you might see are boat pieces, Lake Trout and maybe the skid ish Rainbow Trout. |
