Central Ontario is an Eco-Tourism Destination Two large beaches and numerous smaller secluded public beaches, the Bruce Trail on the Niagara Escarpment for fantastic hiking, the Trent Canal, Canadian Shield north of the Trent, fishing in Lake Huron , Georgian Bay or inland lakes and rivers, in the winter downhill skiing, cross county skiing and snowmobiling are enjoyed for up to three months. Summers are normally hot, winters can be cold, late spring and early fall have a nice moderate climate. |
